The Arts

We are extremely proud of our choir who are seasoned performers at both school and community events. Under the expert guidance of Mrs Rhonda Davidson-Irwin, the students perform classical and modern pieces. Our choir meets every Friday morning from 8am in the music room and is open to all students in years 4 to 6.
For more information, contact Rhonda Davidson-Irwin

Instrumental Music
Students in Year 4, 5 and 6 are offered the opportunity to learn woodwind and percussion through the school instrumental music program. This program is run by the very talented Mr Damon Lougheed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Instrumental Music - Strings Lessons
Private lessons are offered on VIOLIN, VIOLA, and CELLO on Mondays during school time.  Mrs Fiona Lougheed visits the school each week to run these instrumental lessons.  These operate slightly differently to the band program and are on a fee for service basis.  Lessons for strings still work on a rotating timetable.  Please email if you would like further information on string lessons at school.

Our band is made up of our year 5 and 6 students learning instrumental music through the school. Our band performs a variety of pieces that are always well received by our community. Mr Lougheed brings great enthusiasm and experience to band rehearsals on Thursdays from 8am. Making music is an important function of our brain and we love to nurture our budding musicians.
For more information, please contact Mr Damon Lougheed
